Wag the Dog: When will people learn about the Streisand Effect?
Well, McDonald’s just solidified the meaning of “McJob” as lousy, underpaid work by trying to petition dictionaries to change their definition to something friendlier. Are their lobbyists idiots? Perhaps they should read up on the Streisand Effect.
Remember folks: stumbling through brand-management like a smarmy-yet-scary 1950’s mashup of Hoover and a used-car salesman archetype makes you look stupid in the modern, post-media world. I still like your fries, McDonald’s. Mmm.
