The Apple Announcement Effect

I love it - traffic for this blog is even lower today than the usual trickle - I’m guessing because everyone’s following the Apple WWDC announcements on CrunchGear, Engadget and Gizmodo. I know I am.

Safari for Windows? What does this say about Apple’s strategy? As someone pointed out recently, iTunes makes Apple one of the largest Windows developers after Microsoft itself; what does Safari for Windows mean in that context?

I don’t care who takes the helm, as long as someone is driving.

Driving innovation, driving web usability, and driving the internet.

Apple is driving innovation, but partnering only with AT&T is short-sighted.

James & Andrew - I agree with you both. Its crazy how Apple sets the pace, though I’d hoped for “unlocked handset” sales too. June 29th will be cool - to start seeing real reviews come in. Up here in Canada, the iPhone won’t be around for a few months yet…
