Back, but catching up; Or: Truck stops as a measure of mainstream success

I’m back from Madison, but am scrambling to catch up at work from a missed day. Drove throught the most insane rain/hail/lightning storm ever last night, which added 3 hours onto a 12 hour drive, resulting in a very late night. Tired, but back in one peice.

Stay tuned for “The Real World Photo Sharing Shootout” - what’s the best site to share the pictures from my trip on? Flickr? Photobucket? Facebook? My plan is to try it through each, document the process, and the crown the winner on basis of real-world functionality instead of on-paper feature list. Any suggestions for sites that should be included, or criteria for comparison? Please comment them!

Observation: every second truck stop advertises WiFi hotspots. When a technology achieves significant penetration in truck stops, you know that its conceptual meme (if not a specific protocol) will stick around forever: i.e.: wireless IP bandwidth, however delivered, is soon going to be a general public expectation - like lights, heat, and running water.
